Jae Lee and Mark Tomasic, Artistic Directors. Synapse Contemporary Dance Theater — SMC’s contemporary dance ensemble for more than 40 years — showcases new works by guest and faculty artists, as well as student choreographers. Styles include  Modern, Postmodern, Contemporary Ballet, and Jazz, as well as Hip Hop, Fusion, and more! The performance includes a work by guest artist Ori Flomin— A NYC based choreographer who has been widely presented nationally and around the world in Europe, Israel, Australia, and India (sponsored by an SMC Foundation Chair of Excellence Grant).
