Jeremiah Selvey, Conductor. The SMC Concert Chorale and SMC Chamber Choir join together for a concert featuring Navidad Nuestra — a folk drama of the nativity — and Missa Criolla, a folk mass. Both are by Argentinian composer Ariel Ramirez and based on the rhythms and traditions of Hispanic America. The concert will include You Are Enough: A Mental Health Suite, by Aron Accurso and Rachel Griffin Accurso, as well as the world premiere of a collaborative composition centered on the topic of human rights, under the leadership of guest musician Sherry Blevins. The choirs and invited guests will also perform tunes of the season and lead you in holiday sing-alongs.
